Holistic 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course

Yoga asana practices and with that the most important and fundamental philosophy. Holistic Hatha Yoga is a general category that may include most yoga styles known in the West. It is an ancient system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) which help to bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.Being a qualified Yoga Teacher means you have a very broad skill set that allows you to teach many different ashtangas, Hatha based classes. Your classes will be creative and varied, always aiming to bring peace of mind to your students.

Our 300 Hour Holistic Yoga Teacher training is a unique, profoundly transforming and personal experience holistically that is based on the ancient Gurukul Teaching System which integrates the student's daily life into the yoga training.For 28 Days intense days of community, students strengthen their own yoga practice through self-discipline and awareness of the nature of mind, body and spirit. They also develop further on foundation from which they are able to teach others confidently & deeply.

What will be the 300 Hour Holistic Yoga Course Overview

Holistic Yoga Asana
  • This session will focus on training the students in the correct method of practicing asanas belonging to various families. Focus of study will be on learning the correct alignment of weight bearing, rotating and hinge joints of the body with understanding their symbiotic relationships with each other and managing the weight of the body as we move across various planes.
  • Pranayam methods train the students to attain the mastery over the breathing process and harmonize the flow and control of breathing. Students will coordinate the breath with the mantra, and cultivate awareness of the pranic movement within the body.
Yoga Philosophy
  • This class will prepare students to study and understand Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Once a week, students will lead a discussion reflecting on the week's readings. Before class, students should write down one question on a notecard directly related to the day's reading and give this to the teacher at the start of class.
Yoga Anatomy
  • To enable students to know the details of different bodily systems and how to correlate the techniques of yoga with the same, so as to get maximum health benefits.
Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda
  • Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda program is rooted in the alchemic power of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Psychology to support physical, mental, and spiritual health. Our healing approach is twofold.
  • Practise of various techniques of meditation in raj yoga. It includes the practise of various meditation techniques and explanation on their method and benefits taking references from ancient texts as well as modern research papers on the benefits of meditation.
